Voices of graduates from the lab

KOSHI, Yumiko
Graduated from Master's Program in 2019
Hitachi, Ltd. Research & Development Group, Instrumentation & Electronics Innovation Center, Biosystems Research Department
Research and Development Officer
I am engaged in research and equipment development related to genetic testing technology. My main recent duties are the production of prototype machines (design, assembly, control program creation, etc.) and biological experiments to evaluate their performance.

SAGA, Sayuka
Graduated from Master's Program in 2018
GE Healthcare Japan, Ultrasound Product Development Department
Research and Development Officer
I am mainly in charge of adjusting the image quality of ultrasound diagnostic equipment. I try to improve image quality by interpreting what kind of images are required in clinical practice from an engineering perspective. The basic principles of ultrasound diagnostic equipment can be explained by physics, so I realize the importance of the knowledge I learned during my time at university. In addition, by interacting with various people both in Japan and overseas, I am not only deepening my knowledge of medical engineering, but also working on my work with a strong desire to learn, so that I can improve a wide range of skills, such as communication skills.

AOKI, Yuta
Graduated from Master's Program in 2017
Sony Corporation R&D Center
Research and Development Officer
We are working on research and development of vital sensing technology to create products and services of the future. We are challenging ourselves to create new value in cooperation with our members, making full use of our wide range of knowledge in devices, software, biomedical devices, etc.

HIROFUJI, Ryosuke
Graduated from Master's Program in 2017
NIDEK Co., Ltd. Software Design Department
Research and Development Officer
I am in charge of software design for cataract surgery equipment. My main job involves creating design documents based on user requirements, coding based on those design documents, and implementing functions that satisfy user requirements.
